We have the ability to breed your mare to "any" stallion in the world, as long as the stallion owner can ship us the semen. We also can provided any stallion owner the ability to collect and ship their cooled semen. We have shipped semen to Hawaii with 100% success.
We collect and ship semen for stallions of many breeds all over North Texas. Full mare care is provided at our facility for a nominal fee. We highly recommend using a "Regimate" hormone therapy to insure accurate timing for ovulation during the breeding cycle.
- Artificial Insemination and Stallion Collection
Collecting a stallion can be a very dangerous process!!! But live coverage can even more dangerous for the mare, stallion and handler.
There are various methods used to collect a stallion, there are hand held collectors which can be used with a mare in heat and also with a breeding dummuy (also know as a phantom). The first method is used by many breeding farms because it is the most cost effecient. The downside is that you are still using a mare that could kick the stallion, and now the collector(a human) who is holding the hand device.
At Bonded Hearts we use a breeding Dummy(phantom)which has the collection device built in and after a few mounts a stallion needs no coaxing to use (it does not squeal, kick, or move around).
Besides standing our own stallions (who have never live mounted a mare) we also collect and ship for other stallions in our area.
